Second Body Found, First Body Identified At Lennox Drug House

After excavating a body from the backyard of a suspected drug house in Lennox earlier this week, LA County Sheriff's detectives and members of the LA County Coroner's Special Operations team followed a lead back to the 4800 block of West 112th Street on Saturday where they found a second body, notes an LASD press release. The gender and identity have not been determined. An autopsy is pending.

On Thursday, the LA County Coroner's office positively identified the first body as James Stein, who was reported missing on December 9, 2010. Detectives are still searching for his 42-year-old wife Gabriela Stein who went missing in January 2011, according to a LASD press release.

The suspected drug house caught fire Wednesday "hours after Marcos Lomeli, the sole suspect in the murder, was arrested after a standoff at a motel in Rosemead," reports KTLA. Arson investigators suspect the fire may have been set intentionally. Lomeli's girlfriend Jenny Salazar, arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment, led police to the Lennox home "claiming there were bodies buried there," reports KTLA.
