If you'd like to see your dream show listing become a reality, email me and we'll float away on a cloud together, giggling until we reach Zanzibar.
MONDAY 2/14
The Benson Interruption, 9p Largo. Benson will be showing no love to Anthony Jeselnik, Al Madrigal and more.
Valentine’s Day Singles Mixer, 11p UCB. Bring your terrible love stories, and let some of UCB’s best (Amanda Sitko, Ben Schwartz, the Convoy guys and more) twist those tears into hilarity.
TUESDAY 2/15
Holy F*ck, 9p Downtown Independent. Dana Gould, Jackie Kashian and a bunch more great folks. The F bomb you should be worried about most is FREE.
Cagematch, 11p UCB. Lennon Parham, Zach Woods, Jessica St. Clair, and Jason Mantzoukas vs. Billy Merritt, Johnny Meeks, and Joel Spence? Goddamn.
WEDNESDAY 2/16
The Meltdown Show, 8:30p Meltdown Comics. This show was recently profiled on Carson Daly, so you KNOW it’s getting huge. This week has Don’t Stop or We’ll Die doing hilarious songs, Scott Thompson (!!), and Nick Thune to name a few.
Sweet Tooth, 11p iO West. Three-man improv featuring Craig Cackowski.
THURSDAY 2/17
The Super Serious Show, 7p Smashbox Studios. Jimmy Pardo, A Kiss From Daddy, Dana Gould, Brent Weinbach & Moshe Kasher, plus a special guest so hot you should wear oven mitts.
Intelligent Design, 8p Skinny’s Lounge. NoHo is out to get itself a piece of this stand up comedy game, with a new weekly show. This week features Scott Bowser, Paul Cibis and a ton more.
FRIDAY 2/18
Bill Gardell, 8p Irvine Improv. Gardell has been working hard for years, and is finally coming on strong. He’s down in Irvine all weekend.
Charlie Murphy, 10p Ontario Improv. The possibilities for this show range from Murphy not even showing up to the place burning to the ground.
SATURDAY 2/19
Maz Jobrani, 7p Ice House. Maz does Pasadena all weekend.
Joe Rogan, 9p Brea Improv. The guy sleeps in a hyperbaric chamber. There’s no way you want to go to the early ‘polite’ show.
SUNDAY 2/20
Comedy Barre, 8p Vermont Restaurant. No reason to NOT list this show two weeks in a row. Rob O’Reilly and Katie Page welcome Laura Kightlinger, Barry Rothbart, DC Pierson, Dominic Dierkes and more.
The Schmoscars, 8p iO West. Some of iO’s brightest sketch minds put up their best material, and the audience votes on a winner, who then gets to make their congratulatory speech. Awesome.
