The critter nibbling leftovers from your favorite LAX Sbarro could soon be trained to foil evil terrorist plots. Israeli scientists have reportedly created a detector that looks like a body scanner, but instead contains concealed boxes of specially trained mice. When the Great Mouse Detectives sense traces of drugs or explosives, they run to a side chamber and trigger an alarm. Researchers are claiming that mice are more efficient than bomb-sniffing dogs.
