TV Junkie: TV Journalists Assaulted in Egypt; Showtime Gives Away 'Episodes'

CNN's Anderson Cooper is among several journalists who have been assaulted in Egypt in the last 6 hours
Although the situation on the ground will probably change by the time this post goes live, reports from Egypt state that several reporters, including CNN's Anderson Cooper and ABC's Christiane Amanpour were assaulted today and have retreated to undisclosed locations for fear of their safety. We hope that the journalists who are supplying us with news from this important event will be able to do so without being injured or killed. Ricky Gervais cleared up the most recent Golden Globes debacle, stating that it was NBC that asked him to host next year's event and not the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. It seems incredible to me that the HFPA wouldn't have been involved in that offer or didn't know about it at all, but then again, they might have their attention focused on their defense for the multiple lawsuits they are currently presented with.
