Disgust With TV: All of a sudden we're seeing plenty of tweets and articles about disgust with shows like MTV's "Skins" & "Jersey Shore" and Steven Tyler's behavior on "American Idol" (quite literally slavering over underage girls). These are shows that have always been disgusting from their first episodes. In defense of the BBC's version of "Skins," the performances and tone of the original is nothing like the toxic mutation that airs on MTV. There's a reason why we don't write about shows that are exploitive and these shows are inherently and cynically exploitive. Can you add more to our list?
