Our Pick: Iron and Wine, Laura Marling @ The Wiltern

Tonight Long Beach-bred indie rock stalwarts the Cold War Kids (LAist Review, #2) will be performing for free, in-store at Amoeba Music. Local alt-rockers Olin & the Moon (LAist Interview) are poised to take on the Echo.

And, lastly, Echo Park-based indie rock quintet Young Hunting will be gracing the Silver Lake Lounge with none other than Pacific Hurt, formerly known as Santa Ana-based indie rockers Aushua. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Wiltern to catch South Carolina-bred folk maestro Iron and Wine, who is touring in support of his latest endeavor—2011's Kiss Each Other Clean. LAist favorites, English folk singer-songwriter Laura Marling is slated to kick things off.
