Tonight Boston-based alternative rockers Guster will be headlining the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater. Acclaimed Olympia-bred anti-folk singer-songwriter Kimya Dawson will be gracing the Smell in Downtown.
And, lastly, Silver Lake's own psychedelic rock outfit the Quarter After will be performing at Casey’s Irish Pub in Downtown. But we strongly suggest heading over to Alex's Bar in Long Beach to catch San Franciscan psych-infused garage rocker Ty Segall. LAist favorites, Long Beach's own surf punk trio Tijuana Panthers, who recently released their thirteen-song endeavor entitled Max Baker in August of 2010, are slated to kick things off.
