Our Pick: Peter Wolf Crier, Retribution Gospel Choir @ The Echo
Tonight legendary Washington-bred hard rockers the Melvins will be taking on the Satellite, formerly known as Spaceland. Dallas' favorite alt-country sons the Old 97's are poised to headline the Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theater with none other than Brooklyn-based folk rock troubadour Langhorne Slim (LAist Review, #2).
And, lastly, Echo Park-bred indie rockers LA Font will be gracing Pehrspace. But we strongly suggest heading over the Echo to catch Minneapolis-based Peter Wolf Crier, an indie folk duo comprised of Peter Pisano (former Wilco frontman) and Brian Moan. LAist favorites, Duluth-bred rockers Retribution Gospel Choir are slated to kick things off.
