Kobe's Getting Grauman-ed
Kobe Bryant will be the first athlete (ever, ever, ever!) to have his hand and foot imprinted in cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood, according to KTLA.The ceremony for Bryant's cementing will take place on February 19th just one day before the All-Star game at Staples Center and amid a flurry of All-Star weekend festivities.
Bryant played it humble when talking about his impending hand/foot immortalization: "To be a part of such elite company is a tremendous honor. I'm proud to be the first athlete to be recognized."
Will this pave the way for other L.A. athletes to get Grauman-ed? Or is the 12 time All-Star and 5-time NBA champ simply so far above the star-athlete stratosphere that no other L.A. athlete could compete?
