Get Melted: Grilled Cheese Saturday at Mercantile
Things will be heating up outside in Los Angeles this weekend weather-wise, as will the cheese-and-bread combos at The Mercantile in Hollywood, who are holding a Grilled Cheese Saturday tomorrow from 5 p.m. until closing time. They'll have a couple of special grilled cheese sandwiches on the menu, which sound pretty tempting: Popper Panini (Jalapeños, Cream Cheese, and Cheddar, served with Ranch Dressing) and Stinky (Epoisses, Fontina, Smoked Almonds, and Overripe Persimmons).
Plus, if you want to grub down on some dessert sandwiches, you can check out their Elvis (Peanut Butter, Banana and Bacon) or the Nutella (Nutella, Pears, and Hazelnuts).
Order up some wine from their lovely list, and top off a hot January day with some hot melted cheese. Cheers!
