Pedestrian Killed in Playa del Rey Hit-and-Run
A pedestrian was stuck and killed last night in a hit-and-run in Playa del Rey, according to the Daily Breeze. The victim, a woman thought to be in her 40s, was hit at around 1:50 a.m. this morning. The body was found "lying in the street on Culver Boulevard near Pershing Drive at about 2 a.m.," elaborates ABC7, however she was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital.
The driver reportedly fled the scene after striking the woman, then ditched his vehicle and ran away. However, at this time, adds KTLA, a description of the suspect or their car has not been made available.
