LAPD Release Details About Northridge Pot Shop Shooting

Three suspects showed up at a pot co-op center located in the 8200 block of White Oak Avenue shortly before 9:35 p.m. on the 15th. Once inside, two of the suspects, all male Hispanics, pulled out handguns and shot at the two workers inside the business. One of the victims retrieved a gun kept in the co-op for security and shot back, but his shots were ineffective after being fired at by the suspects.
The shooting was ostensibly a robbery; the suspects took a small amount of marijuana and some cash, as well as what they thought was the security video recorder, and left the scene in a tan Nissan Titan pickup truck.
The LAPD describes the three suspects as follows:
The first suspect has a thick mustache and was wearing a blue and white knit ski cap with ear covers. He was also wearing a black, hooded jacket and blue jeans. He stands between 5 feet 1 and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 170 pounds. He was carrying a handgun.The second suspect has short brown hair, a mustache and heavy eyebrows. He was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He stands between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 170 pounds. He was also carrying a handgun.
The third suspect was described wearing dark pants, a zip-up jacket and a black New York Mets baseball cap.
The victims are listed in stable and critical condition, respectively, at a local hospital.
