Unemployment in LA County Rises Slightly, Steady Statewide

The November unemployment figures are in, reports the Daily News, and Los Angeles County saw a slight jump to 13 percent, up from the 12.6 percent reported in October. Statewide, for a fourth consecutive month, the unemployment rate remained steady at 12.4 percent. Fewer people were receiving unemployment benefits in November than in October, however, there were more new claims filed.
