Our Pick: Stornoway, The Head & the Heart @ Troubadour

Tonight local indie rock act Princeton (LAist Interview) will be taking on the Echo with none other than local indie rock quintet the Sea of Cortez, who are touring in anticipation of their yet-to-be-released studio debut, 2010's Make It Sound. Local pop quintet Big Whup are poised to grace Pehrspace in celebration of their latest music video release. And, lastly, Echo Park-bred indie rockers LA Font will be performing at the Silver Lake Lounge. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Troubadour to catch English folk rockers Stornoway, who released one of the year's most promising releases, 2010's Beachcomber's Windowsill.

Stornoway - "Zorbing"

The Sea of Cortez - "The Shores"

Big Whup - "Cover My Eyes"

LA Font - "Fine Lines"
