Century City Condo Fire Smokes Up The Sky
The Los Angeles Fire Department has confirmed that one person suffered minor burn injuries in a high-rise fire in Century City on Sunday afternoon, reports the LA TImes.
The fire, first reported around 2:15 p.m., was contained to one unit on the 20th floor of 2170 Century Park East. Approximately 75 firefighters responded to the emergency, extinguishing the blaze in 23 minutes before it spread through the building.
According to the LA Times, residents were not evacuated, and the cause of the fire has not been determined.
