Our Pick: Passion Pit, Mister Heavenly, We Barbarians, Pepper Rabbit @ Hollywood Palladium

Tonight local indie rockers Kitten will be taking on the Echo one last time with none other than local indie rockers Red Cortez (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4) and the Sea of Cortez, who are touring in anticipation of their yet-to-be-released studio debut, 2010's Make It Sound. LA-based rock outfit Eastern Conference Champions are poised to grace the Hotel Café in anticipation of their latest full-length;2011's SPEAK-AHH. And, lastly, New Orleans-bred "sissy bounce" act Big Freedia will be headlining the Echoplex. But we strongly suggest doing whatever it takes to get into the Hollywood Palladium tonight to catch Cambridge-bred electro-pop outfit Passion Pit (LAist Review). LAist favorites, Silver Lake-based indie pop act Pepper Rabbit and Long Beach-based indie rockers We Barbarians.

Passion Pit - "Sleepyhead"

Kitten - "Kill The Light (Demo)"

Eastern Conference Champions - "Bloody Bells"

Big Freedia - "Rock Around da Clock"
