Chatter Continues in Chasen Case, as 'Clues' Crop Up

Today the Daily Beast leads the rumor mongering with their report based on "an exclusive email" they obtained that "reports a woman driving in the same neighborhood a week earlier was threatened through her window by a gunman under similar circumstances." The email is reportedly a neighborly warning about an African-American or Latino man in "gang garb" who drove erratically and pointed a gun at a female driver, who, in turn, just kept driving.
They add that there was a similar shooting ten days later that an unnamed Covina man survived, and that despite authorities believing this was a professional hit, "the killer did not have to be an expert marksman."
Chasen's will was the subject of tabloid TV and print reports, including the $10 she left one niece, and that her brother believed there was a newer will, which has yet to be located. Who Chasen dated, and that she was planning to have plastic surgery also bear mention by the Beast, though one can probably assume Larry King did not order a hit on Chasen.
So the speculation, and chatter, continues, including the chatter that points out chatter that's being reported in the absence of concrete information from detectives. And still, Chasen's murder, at least in the public sphere, is no closer to being solved.
