Meet Stacey Smith, a college graduate with a difficult past, a confusing present and a questionable future who finds herself in Los Angeles looking for love, looking for a job and looking for a place to live. She's been homeless for two years after leaving a corporate job to pursue writing, according to her blog. Sounds like the start to a promising romantic comedy, minus the alarmingly homeless part.
Her story is provocative and while her situation is perhaps not unique, it is certainly unfamiliar to the majority of people with Twitter accounts. Says Smith on her site, "I believe that this blog will not only be a great way for me to talk about not only dating and relationships, but also homelessness in general. Especially in light of my recently meeting a celebrity on an online dating site...and not knowing what to do." Begin Act II.
