OMGLOLWTFIDKBBQ!? The Dating While Homeless Blog

Five entries in and already she has a media contact sending out emails? Welcome to LA, where attractive homeless women attempt to write themselves out of poverty by blogging about Italian leather boots, free samples from the Clinique counter, Amy's Gluten-Free Baked Ziti and finding love online. Dating While Homeless has arrived.

Meet Stacey Smith, a college graduate with a difficult past, a confusing present and a questionable future who finds herself in Los Angeles looking for love, looking for a job and looking for a place to live. She's been homeless for two years after leaving a corporate job to pursue writing, according to her blog. Sounds like the start to a promising romantic comedy, minus the alarmingly homeless part.

Her story is provocative and while her situation is perhaps not unique, it is certainly unfamiliar to the majority of people with Twitter accounts. Really, how much intel is available on homeless gals who online date and take photos with Deepak Chopra? When was the last time you chatted-up the chick outside of Whole Foods and asked about her beauty regimen or the safety of using a toilet at night on the Santa Monica pier? What do you know about the "homeless girl diet?"

Says Smith on her site, "I believe that this blog will not only be a great way for me to talk about not only dating and relationships, but also homelessness in general. Especially in light of my recently meeting a celebrity on an online dating site...and not knowing what to do." Begin Act II.
