Coroner Rules Toddler's Staples Center Death an Accident
Following an autopsy, the Los Angeles County coroner has ruled "that the death of a toddler who fell from a luxury box at Staples Center after a Lakers game Sunday was an accident," reports LA Now. Lucas Tang, 2, suffered multiple traumatic injuries in his fall from the skybox to the arena's concrete floor, however there was "no evidence of foul play," in his death. Tang tumbled over the box's glass barrier while his family paused to look at the photos they'd just taken on their digital camera. Those barriers were found to be in compliance with building codes.
