Comedian and Emmy-award winning TV pioneer Louis CK is bringing his "Louis C.K.: Word" tour to LA on December 2nd at the Gibson Amphitheater.
We always find it amusing to see people so disappointed in shows like the American Music Awards - who hasn't been disappointed in a music awards show in the last 20 years? We're hopeful that Justin Bieber's "win" is the final nail in the coffin of this latest embarrassment. I guess the elitists among us were definitely much better off watching "Dexter" on Showtime last night, which has been developing very nicely over the last 3 weeks. We were initially unsure about the character Julia Stiles plays when she first appeared but she is a very welcome addition to the show as is an exceedingly nefarious Peter Weller.

TV Folks IRL (in chronological order):

"Yo Gabba Gabba!" will be performing 5 shows in 2 days over November 26 and 27 at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. Live. The party packages are all sold out but the shows will still be a lot of fun. We know that the Super Music Friend for the matinee show on November 26 will be DJ/producer Pretty Lights. But every show will include several local notables. We've seen the show, it's a lot of fun!

One of the most ground-breaking TV shows this year was Louis CK's "Louie" and you'll have a chance to see the comedian perform at the Gibson Amphitheater on December 2nd. If you're thinking of going to see "Louis C.K.: Word", get your tickets sooner than later as he sold out Carnegie Hall a couple weeks ago. He will also be the lead guest on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" on December 3.

We've interviewed comedian Brian Regan a few times for LAist, if you've been a fan of his countless appearances on "The Late Show With David Letterman" or his Comedy Central specials, you can see him in person at the Wiltern on December 10.
