Double the Dinosaur, Double the Prehistoric Wonder

What makes this dino hall so special? It will feature the world's only T. rex growth series, over 300 fossils, 20 full body specimens, a Triceratops, a 68-foot long-necked Mamenchisaurus and giant reptiles that once lived in oceans that now cover California.
The new hall is set to transform the Natural History Museum with its unique, immersive way of bringing prehistoric science to life in a way that will capture the public's imagination and, according to Dr. Jane Pisano, NHM's President and Director, will "easily position the Museum as the West Coast's hub for dinosaurs."
T. rex will be in effect starting July 2011.
