Ventura Man Attacks Ex-Girlfriend With Dry Ice Bombs

crime_tape.jpg Our local psycho series of attacks on ex-girlfriends continues with a Ventura man being arrested today after setting off two dry ice bombs outside the home of his former girlfriend. Responding to a report of a single gunshot in an apartment complex, police arrived on 700 block of S. Hill Road to find, instead, dry ice bombs exploding on resident Anna Gibson's front porch, reports KABC.

Ventura County Police Department officers contacted Gibson's ex-boyfriend, James Bittl who, "admitted to authorities that he placed the dry ice devices on Gibson's porch to scare her because the two are having relationship issues." Bittl was arrested and booked for the felony charge of terrorism and use of a destructive device.
