The Hollywood Heritage Museum will have author Jerry Beck on hand to give you a history of the Looney Tunes and a screening of a selection of Looney Tune Cartoons in celebration of his latest book, The 100 Greatest Looney Tune Cartoons. Tickets for Hollywood Heritage members are $5, non-members pay $10. Tickets sold at the door. Event starts at 7:30 p.m.

Santa Monica's Office of Sustainability is hosting a community solar workshop at The Green Life on Main Street. Attendees will find out about solar tax credits, affordable residential solar options and receive a free solar assessment of their home or business. The Hammer Museum will be screening Space, Land, and Time: Underground Adventures with Ant Farm. Who is Ant Farm? The 1970's architecture collective best known for Cadillac Ranch, seriously funny culture commentary and a broad body of alarmingly prescient work. Ant Farm's Chip Lord will discuss the film post-screening. Starts at 6 p.m.

Janie Bryant will be signing The Fashion File: Advice, Tips, and Inspiration from the Costume Designer of Mad Men tonight at Book Soup. Whether you're just interested in the chic-again styles that the show made famous or you're keen to to find a way to incorporate Mad Men class into your own wardrobe, Bryant's book might be just what the agency client ordered. Reading starts at 7 p.m.
