Carson is likely to be a ruckus place come Sunday evening as Galaxy fans will descend upon the Home Depot Center for the second leg of the Western Conference Semifinals against Seattle Sounders FC.
The Galaxy hold the lead in the home-and-home series where the team with the most goals after the two matches advances to the next round. It came courtesy of a great 25 yard strike from Edson Buddle last Sunday at Qwest Field.
On Sunday, the Galaxy will need to hold off what will surely be a determined Seattle side. A 1 - 0 lead in a series like this is a contentious one and one that can easily be erased, as New York saw this past Thursday when San Jose came back from a 1 - 0 first leg deficit to eliminate the Red Bulls. A draw will also allow the blue-and-gold to advance, but either way, fans are in for a great match.
Should the Galaxy advance, it will be their second consecutive appearance in the Western Conference Finals and would host the winner of the Real Salt Lake - FC Dallas series to be settled this evening.
