Thanks to local blog LA Taco, we were pointed to Wired's "Taco Truck of the Future." The publication runs monthly calls for submissions that respond to a future need.

This time, the beloved Taco Truck is envisioned as an "artifact of the future," with props to Aaron Rowe for his concept of an eatery on wheels that grows its own produce to make menu items that blend technology with lunchtime.

Will "Vat-grown Chicken Mole with Hydroponic Greens" or a "Soylent Green" taco tantalize your future tastebuds? Only time will tell.

Check out the closeup to spot the San Diego County certification and health inspection rating, the bilingual menu toggles, and the meat...in a jar.
