It might be in the 90s, but it's already the time of year to think about donning some skates and hitting the ice at the seasonal outdoor rinks poised to open around town.

Tomorrow is opening day at Woodland Hills Ice, a 7000+ square-foot rink made of real ice situated in a wintry landscape. The facility is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, including on holidays, and is offering daily public ice skating sessions, plus more formalized weekly classes and one-on-one lessons. The rink is open tomorrow until February 8th, 2011.

In Downtown, Pershing Square is getting ready for its big freeze, though it's still a couple of weeks away from launching their 13th season of skating in the big city. Downtown on Ice opens on November 18th, and runs through January 17th, 2011. Get details on the schedule here, and get ready to get your ice skate on...in the shadow of skycrapers and palm trees.

Also: Santa Monica's rink opens tomorrow, too! [Thanks @GoSantaMonica]
