Raise a Few Pints at Saturday's First-Ever L.A. Vegan Beer Fest

Live music, food trucks, and great beers are on tap this weekend for the first ever Vegan Beer Festival, which is being co-hosted by Tony Yanow (owner, Tony's Darts Away) and QuarryGirl (Vegan Blogger).

The event will be held Saturday at The Roxy Theatre, where five bands will take the stage as guests enjoy unlimited beers from up to 24 brewers from California and beyond, including Stone Brewing Company, Eagle Rock Brewery, Lagunitas, Sierra Nevada, Eel River, Strand, Ballast Point, New Belgium, Deschutes, Firestone, Nibble Bit Tabby and more, all covered in your ticket price. Plus: A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Animal, Media, Rescue & Education (ARME), which works to “eliminate the suffering of animals.”

To soak up the cruelty-free suds, Seabirds Truck, The Frankenstand, Doomie’s Home Cookin’, Yalla Truck, Fresh Fries and Mandoline Grill will be on hand to serve up vegan eats. Have some cash on hand; the price of the food is not included with your admission.
