At Least 35 People Arrested at Last Night's Monster Massive Rave
At least 35 people were arrested last night during the course of the 13th Annual Halloween Monster Massive, a rave and live music event held at the L.A. Sports Arena, reports ABC7."Of those arrested, most will face narcotic possession charges for having either marijuana or ecstasy with them, Los Angeles police Sgt. Brandea Hill of the Southwest station said. There were also a few trespassing charges filed, Hill said," according to CBS. 37 people also reported and were treated for minor injuries.
The safety of events like the Monster Massive has been the subject of much discussion and scrutiny following the drug-related death of a teenager at the Electric Daisy Carnival earlier this year. Over 16,000 people attended last night's 18-and-over event.
