Rape Suspects Sought in South L.A.

The LAPD are releasing information about the rape of a teenage girl that took place this summer in South L.A.

Two men followed the girl as she left a festival at Jim Gilliam park on the night of August 11th; one man acted as a lookout as the other raped the victim in a nearby carport. Though the lookout had the intent to also rape the victim, she was able to flee before a second attack occurred.

Suspect No. 1 was described only as an African American male. Suspect No.2 is described as a male Hispanic in his 20s with black hair and brown eyes. He had a black mole on his right shoulder and a tattoo of a circle with a star inside of it on his chest. He stood 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed 185 pounds and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and blue Dickies pants. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to contact the LAPD.
