Celebrating Roots of Change: The 'Good Food For All' Event
Chef Neal Fraser shops at the Santa Monica Farmers' Market; read our interview here. Fraser is among the over 30 chefs who'll be cooking at the Good Food for All event this week (Lindsay William-Ross/LAist)
In that spirit, a Good Food for All evening on Wednesday, October 6th at Vibiana will kick-off a network summit taking place here next week hosted by Roots of Change. The evening will honor the work of the task force, and celebrate local farmers and chefs who are bringing their good food to Angelenos.
Chefs participating in this fundraiser event include some of our very favorites, including Mark Gold of Eva, Ray Garcia of Fig, Nancy Silverton of Mozza, Brendan Collins of Waterloo & City, John Sedlar of Rivera, Evan Kleiman of Angeli Caffe, David LeFevre of Water Grill, Susan Feniger of Street & Border Grill, Mary Sue Milliken of Border Grill, Suzanne Goin of AOC/Tavern/Lucques, and many more--39 in total.
All of the funds raised will benefit Hunger Action Los Angeles and Sustainable Economic Enterprises Los Angeles (SEE-LA). Tickets are $100 each, and can be purchased online.
