Just in case you're keeping track of the more than 2,400 stars on the Walk of Fame, political satirist Bill Maher became the latest to receive the Hollywood honor. He was joined by his dog, named Killer, CNN's Larry King, "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane and comedian Kathy Griffin, among others, at Tuesday's ceremony. The star is at Hollywood and Vine outside the W Hotel and Residences.
For fans, "Real Time with Bill Maher" is back on the air beginning Friday. And for those wanting to explore the Walk of Fame, there are two new apps for that: one from the LA Times and the other from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which maintains the stars.
