Tonight Highland Park experimental indie rock sextet Fol Chen (LAist Review, #2, #3, #4), who recently released their sophomore studio-album—2010's Part II: The New December will be taking on the penultimate night of their month-long residency at the Echo with San Diegan garage rockers Crocodiles (LAist Inteview). Local indie rockers White Arrows are poised to do the same at Spaceland with O.C.-based indie folk act Gamble House in tow. And, lastly, LA-based indie pop quartet Robotanists will be gracing the Silver Lake Lounge. But we strongly suggest heading over to Bardot to catch Brooklyn-based electro pop songstress Amanda Warner, who performs under the pseudonym MNDR. TV on the Radio guitarist David Andrew Sitek is slated to spin under his brand-new solo moniker Maximum Balloon.
