Our Pick: Femi Kuti & The Positive Force, Terence Blanchard with Lula Washington Dance Theatre, Richard Bona @ Hollywood Bowl

Tonight Irish folk pop duo the Guggenheim Grotto will be gracing the Hotel Café in celebration of their third studio-album, 2010's The Universe Is Laughing, warming up the stage for Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters fame. Highland Park's own deep crooner Crooked Cowboy is poised to perform at Spaceland. And, lastly, local indie pop singer-songwriter Courtenay Green, who performs under the pseudonym See Green, will be gracing the Bootleg Theater with local indie rock quartet Red Tide. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Hollywood Bowl to catch the oldest son of Nigerian Afrobeat pioneer Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, who's last LA performance took place over two years ago.

Femi Kuti - "Blackman Know Yourself"

Crooked Cowboy & the Freshwater Indians - "BEDBUGS"

The Guggenheim Grotto - "Portmarnock Beach Boy Blue"

Red Tide - "Parcel"
