Last Night on The Hills: The Justin/Ryan Tug-O-War
We took a half hour break from our "Left, Right & Center" podcast to catch up on The Hills. Here's what we learned:
Despite Audrina's best efforts last week to get Ryan Cabrera to break up with her so she could fraternize with Justin Bobby guilt free again, she failed, and the two are still together. This became excruciatingly apparent when Justin showed up at Les Deux and crashed yet another cocktail party. Audrina nervously shook his hand (even Lo called her out on that one) and the two pretty much avoided each other. Justin prattled on to Brody about how Audrina "deserves the world" and she's too good to be getting the run around from yet another rocker (where the eff was all this nobility when they were dating??). Ryan couldn't take the vibe so he convinced Audrina to leave with him, icing the awkwardness cake by hitting up Justin with a good-bye turkey sub.
A few days later, the crew accompanied Audrina to a Ryan Cabrera concert to show their collective support, and as Ryan jammed out his hit from 5 or so years ago, "All the Way Down," Audrina inexplicably broke into tears. We're pretty sure this is the only time in history this song has made anyone cry, but for reasons even she couldn't verbalize, it filled Audrina with sorrow. The end is near, Ryan. The end is near.
But not before the Nylon Young Hollywood Party of course. No Hills cast member was missing this, including McKaela and the dreaded Allie. McKaela pathetically approached the group and publicly asked Brody why he "dropped out of her life." (Eyeroll.) Allie made some remark about Kristin and her minions being jealous girls who can't handle pretty girls in L.A., and Kristin went ballistic. The new girls backed off, and Brody simply clung to Kristin and the drag queen hair she was rocking for the occasion, basking in the afterglow of yet another girl fight he's caused. This episode ended, like the last three of so, with Brody and Kristin leaving together for yet another night of narcissistic love.
So say the previews, next week Audrina and Justin Bobby have some intense discussion on a yacht. Don't do it, Audrina!
