A L.A. Superior Court judge today said Los Angeles city officials can go ahead with its medical marijuana ordinance, which goes into effect Monday, meaning over 400 dispensaries will have to soon close, says the LA Times.

Advocates who wanted a temporary restraining order on the ordinance said closing down locations would mean limited access to their medicine. But James Chalfant said over 100 of them will stay open and that, really, be happy at what you have left: "If the city can ban all dispensaries, which it can, this is not an issue."
