Tanker Truck Explodes, Shutting Down 91 Freeway

The truck struck the center divider causing it to overturn around 10:30 a.m., according to CHP Officer Gabe Montoya. The driver of the truck has been reported missing was able to escape the vehicle safely according to CHP. It was not known whether anyone was hurt.
The truck was hauling two trailers and 8,800 gallons of fuel when it jack-knifed across the freeway's eastbound lanes. Flames were seen shooting 100-200 feet in the according to reports. At 12:30 CHP warned the closure may remain in effect for another 6-to-12 hours. By 3:00pm westbound lanes were open, eastbound 91 remained closed. Best alternatives are the bound-to-be-clusterfucked-regardless 10 and 60 freeways.
