Green Space? No, Brown Space! DTLA to Get Dog Park

An approximately 6,000-square-foot parcel of undeveloped land at the corner of 4h and Molino in Downtown's Arts District will soon go from blight to bark, reports the LA Downtown News.

Thanks to community advocacy and the involvement of the LAPD, the non-profit Los Angeles Artist and Business Association (LARABA) has bought the patch of land from the Honda family (they own Little Tokyo's Honda Plaza), and will convert the litter-strewn and neglected space into DTLA's first dog park.

Joked LARABA president John Saslow: "I guess it won’t be green space, it’ll be brown space."
