Family Says WeHo Stabbing Suspect Suffers from Mental Illness

"I've been trying to get her institutionalized for years, and the mental hospitals just keep releasing her. She's been in and out of them since she was 16," said Layla Rosetta Trawick's mother to KABC.
During the attack, 35-year-old Trawick of Antioch apparently was screaming "I'm bipolar. There's no witness protection program" as she used two knives to stab four people, leaving one in critical condition.
