Arizona Changes Immigration Law--Slightly

The LA Times is reporting a small change in Arizona's controversial immigration law: "Lawmakers Thursday night changed the language to require scrutiny only of people who police stop, detain or arrest. They also changed a section of the bill that barred officers from 'solely' using race as grounds for suspecting someone is in the country illegally." Proponents say the change not won't lead to racial profiling. Opponents say race will still be involved and that stopping someone can be for something as easy as a cracked windshield.
