Northrop Grumman HQ Relocation Means 300 Fewer Power Lunchers in Century City
Defense contractor Northrop Grumman is closing shop in Los Angeles, and relocating their corporate headquarters in Virginia, according to cbs2.

About 300 employees currently work for the aerospace, electronics, shipbuilding, and information systems giant here at their Century City offices; those jobs are described as "high-salaried executive positions."
Despite relocating their corporate digs, a news release notes:
Northrop Grumman will remain the largest aerospace company in California with approximately 30,000 employees. Its Aerospace Systems sector is headquartered in Los Angeles County, and each of the company's other four sectors have major facilities in the state.
Says CEO Wes Bush of their farewell to their high-rise HQ digs at 1840 Century Park East:
Northrop Grumman is proud of its longstanding involvement with Los Angeles. We will continue to have a strong commitment to Los Angeles and the region and look forward to working with them for many years.NG has narrowed down their new location to 2 properties in Virginia.
