L.A. Heritage Day Includes Pink's Hot Dogs, L.A. History & More Nerdy Fun

From now until 4 p.m. today, Heritage Square on the Eastside is home to a festival that every history nerd should attend.

More than 70 historical societies, from the Studio City History Project to the Eagle Rock Valley Historical Society to the Art Deco Society, are gathering to show off their knowledge and wares at L.A. Heritage Day.

There will also be blacksmithing, local historical singing and more, including Pink's Hot Dogs (yes, that's L.A. history, too!), which be there to serve food. Plus, you get to check out all the cool buildings on the property.

Admission is $5, but free with this flyer (.pdf).

Heritage Square is located near the Gold Line, where a shuttle will run every 5 to 10 minutes to and from the Heritage Square station.
