'Survivor' Producer Apparently Flew to L.A. & Back to Mexico After Wife Went Missing
Details about the murder of Monica Beresford-Redman, the owner of the popular Brazilian restaurant Zabumba on Venice Boulevard who went missing while in Cancun, Mexico, are still coming out, but one aspect of the story is especially eye-raising. "Survivor" producer and suspect Bruce Beresford-Redman apparently flew back to Los Angeles from Cancun to drop off his kids and then flew back, later reporting her missing, according to the LA Weekly.
On Monday, when she supposedly went missing, witnesses said they heard the two arguing and possibly some blows. Beresford-Redman appeared to have died from strangulation. Her body was found "in a sewer pipe about 70 or 80 meters from from the family's room at the Moon Palace Hotel" on Thursday. Bruce reported her missing on Tuesday.
According to the LA Times, the couple had flown to Mexico to repair their marriage.
