Fooled Again: Comedy is Dead April Fools' Edition
Not having had enough of April Fool's Day, we hit up the monthly comedy series at The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery for some real jokes.
A standing room-only crowd was treated to just that. What began with an almost too-subdued set by Lou Barlow (of Dinosaur Jr. and Sebadoh fame) ended with the rollicking hilarity of Al Madrigal and his band of imaginary cholos, with a solid dose of Sarah Silverman shenanigans in the middle.
Comedy is Dead takes place monthly (more or less) at the Masonic Lodge and features a rotating bill of very funny comedians performing for around 15-20 minutes each. Find out when the next one is at comedyisdead.info.
