SCREENING
There’s a screening of the mockumentary A New Tomorrow at the Film Courage Interactive at the Downtown Independent tonight. The film “skewers the Christian Right, lampoons dysfunctional Democrats, takes aim at the War in Iraq, caricatures the Bush Administration and pokes fun at how Americans vote.” The Interactive is a two-part event that begins with the screening and director’s Q&A. The second part involves an in-depth discussion among fellow filmmakers/actors/writers on upcoming projects, the current state of independent film and epiphanies about the business. 7-11 pm. Tickets $10.
