Tonight Portland-based alt-country duo She & Him, or rather Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward, will be performing at Largo at the Coronet with none other than LA-based folk pop trio the Chapin Sisters in tow. LA-based indie rock trio Moonrats are poised to continue their month-long residency at Spaceland. And, lastly, local electro-infused indie rock trio the Delta Mirror will be doing the same down the street at the Silver Lake Lounge. But we strongly suggest heading over to the Echoplex to catch Las Vegas-by-way-of-San Diego rapper/singer/DJ Gonjasufi, who will be ringing in his latest endeavor—2010's A Sufi And A Killer, which features production from local electronic masterminds the Gaslamp Killer, Flying Lotus and Mainframe. San Diego-bred DJ the Gaslamp Killer is slated to kick things off.
