Muralist Kent Twitchell Commissioned for County Project
Free Ballot by Helen Lundeberg
Lundeberg's murals depicted The Preamble to the Constitution, Free Assembly and Free Ballot.
It's been 30 years since Twitchell, an Air Force veteran himself, has worked on a government commission, but it's good news he's back. And that's despite a controversial incident in 2006 that left his six-story tall mural "Ed Ruscha Monument" painted over. In the end, however, he sued the federal government and other defendants and settled for $1.1 million.
