Eye Nosh: Is This Kosher?
Okay, we can easily answer our own question in its literal sense: No, bacon is not Kosher.
And yet, here it is, wrapped around the bastion of Jewish cuisine, the Matzo Ball. This is the irreverent pork-loving work of Ilan Hall, the Top Chef Season 2 winner, whose The Gorbals in DTLA pays homage to Scottish and Jewish food...all at once. So does it work?
