Silver Lake's hip coffee boutique Lamill has a liquor license, and they're ready to use it. They've debuted a new menu of beer, wine, and sake drinks, some of which are offered in combination with their specialty coffee brews and drinks.

Included on the menu are two signature cocktails of which the Alhambra-based coffee emporium is particularly proud:

Tea Champagne - Imperial Palace Brut Blanc de Blancs with Lamill’s Organic White Pomogranite or Holiday in the Cup Tea. The tangy mix of sweet, bubbly champagne with the undercurrent of the tartly sweet pomegranate tea is a refreshing complement to the boutique’s amazing menu.

Black & Black - Half Old Rasputin Imperial Russian Stout and Half Iced Organic Lamill House Coffee. This heavy stout beer from California’s North Coast Brewing Company combines with Lamill’s signature coffee for a rich, dark chocolate beverage with a full, satisfying flavor unlike anything available anywhere else.

Lamill spent a month putting the drinks list together, aiming to offer beverages that represented quality with a good value. Their wine list includes reds and whites, champagnes and apertifs; on offer as well are several specially-selected beers, including several Japanese labels of which they've become enamored, as well as unique sake selections. Lamill promises patrons that the current booze-infused menu is just the beginning of what they hope will be a lively beverage program.
