Portland Trail Blazers defeat LA Clippers 109-87. Before the game it was announced that the Clippers traded center Marcus Camby to the Blazers for guard Steve Blake, forward Travis Outlaw and cold hard cash while waiving Ricky Davis. With those players out for both teams, it really didn’t change the Clippers fortunes with the Blazers taking away the Clippers post-up game. Chris Kaman had four points in 27 minutes while Craig Smith scored seven in 25 minutes. The 21 turnovers the Clippers had didn’t help things any. However the Clippers did get to within five points with 8:48 remaining in the game. But the Blazers went on an 11-0 run to squash any comebacks the Clippers had planned. Brandon Roy returned for the Blazers and had four points in 15 minutes played.
