Jim Moret Book Signing
Jim Moret's book The Last Day of My Life asks one simple thing: if you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do? The author posed that very question to himself as he was one day away from taking his own life. The book explains how he broke through the mire of depression and self-doubt to not only discover why he wanted to live, but what kind of life he wanted to have. 5:00 p.m. at Book Soup.
Go Ask Alice
If you're looking for a party with a psychedelic twist, try this art and music event at T.O.W. tonight. Go Ask Alice is a heavily female-influenced show featuring pieces inspired by the rabbit-chaser herself as well as music provided by The Studiofix, The Great Entity and DJ Taffy Davenport. $3 cover, which benefits the Haiti relief effort.
